Dubai to Sohar city
Tell us whether your Dubai start is Deira, Downtown, Business Bay, Jebel Ali, Marina or another location. We use your map pin rather than quoting from an unspecified city centre.
ROYAL DREAM · DUBAI TO OMAN PRIVATE BUS CHARTERS
Need to move your whole team, company delegation or organised group from Dubai to Sohar, Oman? Send your exact pickup and Sohar destination, passenger count, travel date and luggage details. We can check whether a properly authorised cross-border van, minibus or coach can serve your journey, then provide a written vehicle quotation.
Royal Dream is discussing one reserved vehicle for your group—not seats on a scheduled Dubai–Sohar bus, a shared car lift or a public bus timetable. Crossing the UAE–Oman border in a commercial passenger vehicle requires a suitable authorised operator, driver, insurance and border arrangements; service is not confirmed until these are checked.

Sohar is in North Al Batinah, Oman, not a UAE city. Route planners show approximately 200 km by road from parts of Dubai to Sohar city, but actual kilometres change with your pickup, Sohar Port or Freezone gate, permitted border crossing and detours. Car driving estimates of roughly two to three hours exclude commercial coach checks, passport control, queues and group breaks, so we do not promise a fixed bus journey time.
Tell us whether your Dubai start is Deira, Downtown, Business Bay, Jebel Ali, Marina or another location. We use your map pin rather than quoting from an unspecified city centre.
A Hatta / Al Wajajah approach may be considered for some road trips, but border access for a foreign commercial bus is not assumed. The licensed operator must check the permitted crossing and current paperwork.
Provide your employer or event organiser, site name, security gate, staff list requirements and bus access instructions; industrial gate access can add distance and reporting time.
Build in traffic, immigration, customs checks, driver eligibility, passenger headcount and rest. We confirm only a realistic schedule after route and approvals are verified.
This route enters Oman and cannot use the Royal Dream homepage’s domestic Dubai–Abu Dhabi or “other UAE city/day” price bands. We have no confirmed fixed Dubai–Sohar charter rate in the supplied homepage data. Every vehicle category therefore requires a written price for the actual approved UAE–Oman journey. Public Dubai–Muscat or Dubai–Sohar ticket fares are per passenger and are not comparable to a whole private bus.
Every figure below is for a complete private vehicle, not a public ticket or an individual seat. “Route quotation” is intentional: no verified Royal Dream fixed AED fare has been published for this UAE–Oman commercial journey.

Cost depends on authorised commercial bus/driver, exact two addresses, border journey, road mileage, passenger count, vehicle positioning and Oman-valid insurance.
A UAE-plated vehicle dropping a group in Oman does not automatically gain permission to collect new passengers in Sohar. Return loading must match its approved operation.
The quote must specify waiting at Sohar, whether the bus remains there, border processing in both directions and any crew rest or overnight arrangements.
An ongoing staff transport contract requires legally approved frequency, passenger documentation, predictable shifts, driver coverage, vehicle maintenance and total monthly mileage.
Ask which UAE exit/Oman entry charges, vehicle permits, border insurance, visas, Salik/parking, site access, driver accommodation, overtime, VAT and other taxes are included. The homepage UAE-only intercity bands and scheduled coach per-seat fares do not apply.
Tell us the number of travellers and their bags before choosing a bus. The images show Royal Dream vehicle categories; they do not prove that any photographed vehicle has Oman commercial entry approval. A large staff bus can carry more people on an approved workforce trip, while a touring coach may be better for luggage and business guests.

Small organised business group if this exact vehicle can legally operate the international charter.
Confirm actual seat count, bags, company passengers and Oman insurance.
Small Dubai office team or delegation headed to a Sohar workplace or event.
Oversize luggage and long border queues can make a larger vehicle more practical.
Medium corporate group or approved site crew travelling together.
Check bus permits, comfortable seating, baggage and Oman site access.
Larger team transfer when the exact coach and driver qualify for international work.
Site gate limits, luggage and registered bus seats determine suitability.
Full event delegation or company group with luggage and a planned Sohar arrival.
Confirm luggage hold, driver hours, venue parking and permits.
Large workforce group only under an approved cross-border commercial transport plan.
Industrial employees may need a staff bus; not all staff vehicles qualify for Oman passenger service.A border-crossing group booking needs more detail than a departure and arrival city. Choose one direction, a prearranged reverse, a same-day return or scheduled work-related movements. Every version is conditional on authorised commercial passenger transport and the correct approval for loading in the chosen country.
Your group boards at confirmed Dubai locations and leaves the vehicle at one agreed Sohar destination. The price considers the operator’s vehicle return and road costs.
Tell us who is being picked up in Oman and where they board. Legal eligibility for collection in Sohar must be established before we offer a return-origin service.
If your group returns the same day, confirm the activity duration and departure times. Border clearance, driver hours and possible waiting can rule out unrealistic schedules.
Provide shifts, number of travellers by shift, worksite, visa status and operating days. Cross-border staff movement is not a routine UAE-only commuter contract.
Tell us precisely where passengers are waiting and where they must report. “Sohar” could mean the city, an office, a hotel, an industrial estate, a contractor camp, Sohar Port or Sohar Freezone. Those are different access and security arrangements. Additional stops must be agreed before a quote.
Possible starting areas include Deira, Bur Dubai, Business Bay, Al Quoz, Jebel Ali and Dubai South when access is safe and the itinerary is approved.
Send the building name, property entrance and local contact. We check bus access before promising a door-side stop.
For a SOHAR Port or Freezone visit, provide company, site gate, visitor and vehicle permissions and reporting time. Port/Freezone access is not implied by crossing the border.
Extra employee pickups or commercial passenger movements within Oman may require distinct authorisation. We do not include unlicensed domestic Oman shuttles.
Your project or factory may need to move a complete team between UAE accommodation and a Sohar worksite. We can assess that transport requirement, but a charter contract cannot create visa or work rights in Oman. For regular movement, we first check the actual carrier’s commercial eligibility, drivers and permitted journeys, then design the seats, routes and shifts.
Share the company name, purpose, destination gate and proposed contract. Restricted Sohar Port / Freezone sites may require visitor manifests or additional gate passes.
Check each traveller’s nationality, passport and lawful Oman entry/work status through appropriate official channels. Do not send scans through the basic public quote form.
Tell us who travels when, including inbound and outbound groups, border allowance, site reporting time and whether the bus waits or returns empty.
Monthly travel requires an agreed legal operating plan, mileage, costs, labour/driver rules, permits, cancellation and contingency procedures.
Keep your organised delegation together between a Dubai location and an agreed Sohar destination, where a licensed cross-border charter can be arranged. This is transport only, not a public Oman bus ticket, travel package or automatic site-entry authorisation.
Check whether your host grants each visitor access, which gate to use and whether a full coach may enter; industrial premises can have security rules.
Agree the arrival window, drop-off bay and waiting plan at the actual Sohar office or venue.
Choose seating and storage for the whole group. Hotel rooms, visitor activities and tickets are not part of the transfer quote unless clearly agreed.
Record the total passenger count, site reporting time and whether documents are valid for the intended work-related purpose.
Before accepting a written offer, check the full price scope. A 200-km class car-route estimate does not cover a complete commercial bus operation with approved border procedures. These items should never be left as unexplained extras.
Dubai origin, selected border, Sohar city or port gate, return kilometres and multiple stops can change the amount.
Confirm fuel inclusion, any applicable UAE tolls and whether extra road charges are billed at actuals or included.
Identify operator approval, foreign-vehicle documentation, required insurance and both jurisdictions’ border/customs charges.
Border delays, driver working limits, waiting and any overnight or second-driver arrangements must be stated.
Agree quote currency, applicable tax treatment and what happens if vehicle authorisation or a passenger’s entry is refused.
An approved Dubai-based bus for domestic routes is not automatically approved to transport paying or contracted groups into Oman. UAE and Oman agencies regulate international passenger transport, foreign transport vehicles, drivers and individual visitors separately. We check actual requirements before providing a confirmed service, and will not imply automatic clearance.
The UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure describes a national land transportation permit for licensed passenger operators, including international activity. Applicability must be confirmed for the carrier and exact trip.
Oman MTCIT lists foreign-vehicle permits, commercial vehicle operating cards and passenger-transport approvals. A foreign bus cannot simply start local commercial journeys in Sohar.
Vehicle registration, permission to take the vehicle outside the UAE, approved border/customs paperwork, Oman-valid passenger insurance and suitable driver licence may be required.
Each group member must independently meet Oman entry conditions, and may need a visa. Do not assume UAE residency or a bus booking guarantees entry.
A valid border entry does not grant a vehicle or visitors permission to enter SOHAR Port, Freezone, factories or private company premises.
Tell us about the group and end location first; we will evaluate which vehicle arrangement, if any, can legally be offered. These checks help avoid a cheap-looking fare that omits permission, insurance or staff safety.
Verify that a UAE or Omani licensed operator can legally move the group on this route and enter the selected country.
Count all travellers, bags, visa requirements and company/site guest registration obligations.
Compare MPV, passenger van, Coaster minibus, touring coach or staff bus based on licensed seats and practical storage.
Obtain precise map pins and port, factory, hotel or event entrance instructions; list any proposed Oman stops.
Check permits, fuel, driver, customs, tax, return loading, waiting and cancellation terms before confirming.
Send exact Dubai pickup and Sohar destination map pins, all passenger and luggage counts, date and return plan, and a company contact. Before offering a charter we check a legally authorised carrier, commercial vehicle, driver and insurance. We will then quote in writing if a compliant operation can be arranged.
Include map pins, Oman site/gate, date/time, group size, suitcases, planned stops and one-way or return details.
We investigate the carrier’s international permissions and request only the traveller/document categories needed for initial feasibility. You separately verify entry and work status.
If the journey is lawful and feasible, review vehicle, driver, insurance, permits, border charges, waiting, taxes and cancellation conditions before confirming.
Practical answers for companies and groups requesting an entire vehicle. We do not quote per-person scheduled bus fares or guarantee a cross-border charter without the required approvals.
No. This page is for a complete privately booked vehicle for one company or organised group. We do not sell individual seats, publish Al Khanjry or other scheduled bus fares, or operate a shared coach service.
You can send an enquiry for a cross-border charter. We check whether a properly authorised operator, bus, driver and commercial passenger-transport arrangement are available before making any offer; border approval is not guaranteed.
There is no verified fixed Dubai–Sohar fare in our homepage database. We quote the complete vehicle after assessing both map pins, the authorised route, vehicle class, passenger count, border permissions, insurance, driver, fuel and return positioning.
No. Dubai–Abu Dhabi and other UAE-city price guides refer to UAE-only movements. Sohar is in Oman, and extra international permissions, customs, insurance, immigration and site access make a separate written quote necessary.
Route planners show roughly 200 km between some Dubai locations and Sohar city by road, but the distance changes if you leave from Dubai Marina or Jebel Ali or need a Sohar Port/Freezone gate. We use actual map pins when planning a bus.
Car route estimates of about two to three hours do not include border clearance and group handling. A private commercial bus needs a more conservative schedule for passenger checks, customs, permitted route, traffic and stops; no exact time is promised.
Hatta / Al Wajajah is one possible road approach, but it is not an unconditional commercial bus option. The permitted crossing is selected only after the international operator confirms current foreign-vehicle and passenger-transport approvals.
Only when the destination operator, SOHAR Port/Freezone security and relevant authorities allow that vehicle and passengers to use the correct gate. Give us the company, gate, site host and arrival instructions to check access.
We can examine a company transport itinerary to a named factory, contractor camp or industrial site. A valid border crossing alone is not site permission, and any onward local Oman service needs to fit the approved transport scope.
A reverse journey is a separate charter review because loading passengers in Oman may require express permission. We cannot promise an Oman-origin pickup just because a UAE bus can drop passengers there.
It may be considered if the carrier can lawfully remain, wait and carry the group back and the driver-duty schedule permits it. The quote must state waiting time, overnight costs if any and return-border arrangements.
Send planned dates, staff shifts, passenger counts, worksite gate, visa/work status and number of border movements. A recurring international service requires approvals and a specific contract; we do not apply UAE domestic monthly rates.
We may plan several UAE pickup points in one organised private charter, such as Deira, Business Bay or Jebel Ali, when vehicle access and timing permit. Give the pickup order and group count at each stop.
Do not assume that. A foreign-registered passenger bus undertaking extra paid journeys between points in Oman may require additional permissions or an Omani licensed operator. We review each requested local stop.
Public or scheduled passenger services may exist, but those have their own operators, routes, fares and timetables. Royal Dream’s service here is a private full-vehicle group enquiry, not a guide to buying public coach tickets.
An 18–30-seater minibus may fit a group of about 25 depending on the exact licensed configuration and bags. We first verify passenger numbers and whether the particular vehicle can legally cross the border commercially.
A 40–50-seat touring coach may suit a large delegation with luggage, subject to an authorised international passenger operator and an approved vehicle. Please request a written availability and pricing review.
We can assess a higher-capacity staff bus for a company movement, but capacity is not border permission. Staff buses and touring coaches also differ in luggage space and comfort, so the exact model must be checked.
This page focuses on private charter planning with an approved professional driver. The actual driver needs the correct bus licence, legal UAE–Oman entry status and permission to perform the international journey.
A without-driver rental would be a different contract and border/insurance arrangement, not an automatic option on this private bus charter page. Ask separately if your group requires self-drive and do not assume it is available.
Only the written quotation defines what is included. It should show fuel, Dubai tolls if applicable, total road mileage, border fees, parking and any extra waiting or return-vehicle positioning.
These must be checked and itemised. Commercial vehicle entry permits, customs, insurance valid for Oman passenger operations and any UAE or Oman border fees can vary by operator and actual trip.
No. Entry rules depend on nationality, residence category, purpose and any exemption. Each traveller should check the official Royal Oman Police eVisa rules; admission is decided by immigration authorities.
ROP recommends submitting eligible eVisa applications at least four days before travel, but processing and visa eligibility vary. For a company group, verify each person well ahead of your scheduled departure.
No. Initial quotations need basic journey details and passenger counts. Do not submit passport scans, Emirates ID scans or other sensitive documents through the public enquiry form; any later permitted collection should use a secure process.
A transport booking does not authorise employment. The company must ensure each employee holds the correct Oman entry or work authorisation for the planned activities and comply with host-country law.
That cannot be assumed. Foreign commercial vehicles moving passengers between two Oman locations may require additional approval. Such local movements are outside the basic point-to-point charter unless lawfully authorised.
A planned UAE stop may be possible if bus access and schedules permit. Tell us every stop in advance; it can change road time, the permitted border plan, mileage and driver duty.
We can check a same-day round trip, but customs queues, meeting duration, driver working hours and two border crossings may make an overnight or alternative plan safer. Nothing is fixed without a confirmed itinerary.
Not automatically. A long wait, early reporting, late return or multi-day programme may require rest and accommodation. We set out the crew arrangement and who pays for it in the written quote.
Luggage depends on seats and actual vehicle model. A touring coach may have more hold space than a staff bus. Tell us the number and approximate sizes of suitcases and any event equipment.
Cross-border recovery and suitable replacement vehicles depend on an approved local or international arrangement. We will specify available breakdown support in the contract; we do not promise instant UAE backup inside Oman.
Airport transfers are a different pickup and permissions matter. This is a city/port/company route page; requests for Sohar Airport collection must be assessed for lawful commercial access and should not be assumed included.
Entry is controlled by immigration, not the transport company. Ask for the written treatment of waiting, return passengers, aborted service, non-refundable fees and cancellation before booking.
Send Dubai origin pin, Sohar destination pin and company/gate, passengers, luggage, date, pickup time, return plan, proposed stops and contact information. We can then review authorised charter feasibility and costs.
Submit the route enquiry with complete vehicle details. We first check the legal international passenger arrangement, then send a written quote if it can be offered; only agreed confirmation and relevant approvals create a booking.
