This is not a self-drive bus or coach product. Availability is limited to selected passenger vans. For a 14-seat search, we first check how the actual van is registered and whether the named driver holds a UAE-accepted licence for that same vehicle class. We do not promise that a normal car licence or visitor licence can legally drive every 14-seat passenger van.

Passenger Seating & Practical Capacity
The advertised seat count is not enough to determine whether you can drive the van. For example, a 13- or 14-seat passenger van may fall into a passenger-transport or light-bus classification depending on registration and technical details. The driver must hold a licence accepted for that actual class.
- Send a clear copy of the named driver’s valid licence before final confirmation.
- For a 14-seat request, do not assume an ordinary light-vehicle licence is sufficient.
- Additional drivers must be declared and approved before they drive the rental van.
- The exact minimum age follows the required licence category, insurer conditions and rental agreement.

The AED 490–650/day and AED 3,050–3,600/week ranges already exist in the Royal Dream fleet dataset for this rental mode. The monthly starting guide is intentionally separated from the chauffeured 7–15 seat monthly rate because the customer provides the approved driver and pays operating costs.
Daily & Short-Term Pricing
Selected eligible passenger vans are guided at AED 490–650/day without driver. This is a vehicle-only rental rate: fuel, Salik, parking, traffic fines, excess mileage and other renter-incurred operating costs are not bundled unless the agreement specifically says otherwise.
Monthly & Contract Pricing
For selected eligible long-term passenger vans, planning rates can start from AED 4,500/month without driver and fuel. The final monthly price depends on the exact van, mileage allowance, rental period, maintenance arrangement, insurance/excess terms, replacement policy and approved driver.
Current Dubai 13–14 seat self-drive market listings are around AED 3,800–4,500/month for selected Hiace / Urvan-type vehicles. Royal Dream’s AED 4,500 starting guide is positioned competitively while leaving room for the correct vehicle, insurance and mileage terms.

Before handover, we show the insurance basis and any security requirement for the selected van. We do not advertise one fixed deposit amount for every vehicle because the amount can change with the van, insurer, renter profile and rental duration.
Professional Driver & Trip Coordination
A professional Royal Dream driver is not included in this rental mode. If your named driver is not eligible for the van class, or if you want Royal Dream to manage the trip, switch to the with-driver service rather than trying to use the wrong licence category.
Van Without Driver Availability Where Applicable
The option applies only after the actual vehicle and named driver pass the eligibility check. The rental agreement should identify all authorised drivers; an undeclared person should not drive the van.

Mileage, Fuel, Salik & Parking
A low van-only price is useful only when the operating costs are clear. The quotation or rental agreement states the mileage allowance, fuel-return rule and how road-use costs are charged.

Local Pickup and Drop-Off
Pickup or delivery location is agreed before handover. At collection, check the van body, wheels/tyres, glass, interior, fuel level, odometer and supplied accessories. Keep the signed or digital condition record until the vehicle is returned.
Inter-Emirate and Return Routes
Travel within the UAE is subject to the rental agreement, insurance and mileage terms. Do not take a rental vehicle outside the UAE unless the provider confirms the legal process in writing; Dubai RTA states that rental companies cannot obtain the tourism certificate used to take rented vehicles outside the UAE.

HANDOVER + RETURN
Pickup, Return & Vehicle Inspection
Record the vehicle condition at both ends of the rental. A clear handover protects you and Royal Dream by showing what was already present and what changed during the rental.
Verify the authorised driver, licence class, Emirates ID / passport documents, rental dates, mileage allowance, insurance/excess and security terms.
Photograph or record exterior damage, tyres, glass, mirrors, interior, fuel gauge, odometer and supplied accessories before departure.
Use only approved drivers, stay within the allowed territory, follow the mileage/fuel terms and contact us promptly after an accident, warning light or breakdown.
Return to the agreed place and time, with the required fuel level and accessories, then complete the return inspection and mileage record.

If the van develops a mechanical issue, follow the breakdown procedure in the rental agreement and contact Royal Dream before arranging repairs yourself. Replacement availability depends on the fault, location, rental terms and suitable eligible stock.
Safety, Insurance & Compliance
The named driver must use a driving licence accepted in the UAE for the same vehicle class. Dubai RTA currently states that light-bus licensing covers light buses with up to 26 passengers, and its visitor-licence guidance limits recognised foreign / GCC visitor licences to light vehicles and motorcycles. That is why a 14-seat van is checked by registration class before we confirm self-drive eligibility.

Without-driver rental is cheaper only when you already have the right approved driver and are comfortable taking responsibility for the rental. If the licence class, insurance, parking, route or passenger-operation rules are uncertain, the with-driver option is usually simpler.

How do I book Van Rental Dubai Without Driver?

Do not assume so. RTA’s current visitor guidance says recognised foreign / GCC visitor licences are for light vehicles and motorcycles. If a 14-seat van is registered in another passenger or light-bus class, a tourist’s ordinary foreign car licence may not cover it.
Selected Toyota Hiace, Nissan Urvan and certain passenger-van configurations may be considered. Mercedes Sprinter availability is conversion-dependent. Minibuses, coaches and large buses remain with-driver products unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing.

No, not in the standard van-only price. The rental agreement states the fuel level or return policy. The renter is also responsible for Salik, parking and fines according to actual use and the agreed terms.
Mileage allowance depends on the selected daily, weekly or monthly plan. We show the included kilometres and any excess-kilometre rate in the quotation or rental agreement rather than applying one generic limit to every van.
Usually only where the rental agreement, insurance and vehicle use permit it. Tell us your expected UAE travel before handover so the correct mileage and coverage terms can be confirmed.
Do not plan cross-border use unless it is expressly confirmed as legally possible. Dubai RTA currently states that rental companies cannot apply for a tourism certificate because rented vehicles cannot be driven outside the UAE.
